Does your Exploder do that too? Ours started one day while on a freeway in West Seattle going uphill at 50mph for about a mile to 2 miles, I could feel the engine and transmission being stressed out. It does the 6 warning flashes every 3 - 5 minutes, on the road, parked, everywhere. Here, I am stopped at the airport waiting for my mother and you can see I was ready at the first flash of the warning light.
On Ebay I bought a NS-129T, some sort of module but the seller doesn't have a description on what that is. I also bought a hub because the front left wheel hub bearing makes a whooshing noise.
After looking up the problem online I can see that many more people experience the same problem with 1998 Explorers... why though?
Ours is a 1998 Exploder with 4.0 SOHC V6.
