McCain: Palin Didn't Make Definitive Policy Statement

On This Week McCain is asked about the comments Sarah Palin made which contradict his policy on Pakistan, and here is what his response boiled down to:

You know this business of . in all due respect people, going around and, with sticking a microphone while conversations are being held and all of a sudden thats thats a persons position it, its a free country but I dont think most Americans think that thats a definitive policy statement made by Governor Palin and I would hope you wouldnt either.

oh....one other thing,

you notice when McCain said "she did fine, she did fine" doesn't he seem like he is speaking about some child or at the very least someone that needs coaching, or is not equal to him??? She did fine, what did she do fine about? Wasn't like it was a big press conference or anything!!
