Something tells me that these primaries were manipulated to put the candidate with the least credibility (McCain) at the forefront so the party could throw the election and the front runner could get the shaft. So, in the event that the country collapses, Ron Paul could say "I told you so" from the grave, because a select few people from behind the scenes could wait him out.
