Just doing a lot of research into this case for my degree now. I already think that it was James File who took the fatal shot. It's basicaly 100% that he is telling the truth in his confession, everything adds up and others testimoney validates and supports his claims. Either way, at this very moment that we see here, people were readying their guns to take him out. So sad, it was like he was going infront of a firing suad, he had no chance.

He would have won a second term rather easily - the polling numbers were making his advisors giddy and Goldwater was in line to win the nomination - he was in Texas to shore up his support - but with Johnson on the ticket - they would have won Texas

@jmas1038 What makes you think JFK would have won a second term? The only reason he was in Texas was because Texas was likely to go republican in 1964, and had that happened JFK would have lost his re-election bid. JFK narrowly won the presidency the first time around (by a few thousand votes) and he was even less popular by November 1963, but his reputation was forever enhanced by the fact that he was so young when he was killed, and the manner in which he was killed.

Even though I was just about 3 when he died, I have always loved JFK! Watching this makes you wish you could turn back the clock and stop him from getting killed. What would things have been like if he had served 2 terms? He wasn't perfect, but I don't think things would have turned out as bad as it did. The unrest of the 60's, vietnam, watergate, the me decade and so forth! Revisionists can say what they want, but this man moved people! America won't see another like him.
