As usual I had this random inspiration to make a cultural artifact in Second Life.. I'm not sure about this, but I believe that the traditional Chinese Arch is meant to convey good fortune upon all those who pass under it.
For my purposes it acts as a transdimensional portal to "Jade Metto", a facet of the Neotoy Continuum where many shifty characters end up. Build time was about 3 hours. I also added some soothing classical Chinese music to the background.. Don't know what it's called so please don't ask.
Notice all the rendering errors? Highlight streaking, transparency cancellation, geometric offset.. Linden Labs, you suck! Oh, well, Second Life IS free.
is there a name for this type of arch?
