@03nj ..,a few US Navy aircraft carriers stopped a Japanese Invasion fleet at Midway btwn 4-7 June 1942' and pwnd ( decisively defeated ) a superior japanese force of aircraft carriers & battleships, crusiers etc.

@03nj if the japanese sent a third wave to bomb pearl harbour and take out the oil stocksthen USA (united shit of asses) would be ashes now.

@03nj I don't think it was possible for any army at the time to invade and conquer the US. Man, if only the US joined up the Axis powers.

Few aircraft carriers wouldn't stop entire invasion fleet, Japanese had carriers of their own plus battleships and crusiers in 1941 and 1942 they heavily outnumbered US navy in Pacific, but instead of invading USA they went for Philipines, Indonesia, Guinea and small islands in pacific

高尾型甲巡は、アメリカのイージス艦建造に大きな影響を与えている。タイコンデュロガ級やアーレイバーク級のシルエットはまさに高尾型。
また、アメリカ空母の着艦信号灯は、日本空母で採用されていたものを戦後真似たもの。戦中の米空母の着艦信号は生身の水兵が手旗信号みたいにやっていた。また、空母ケネディの傾斜煙突のアイデアも日本空母のパクリ。艦橋を舷からはみ出させる設計も日本が先。カタパルト以外は、案外日本空母は進んでいた。また、サウスダコタ級戦艦のバイタルパートの構造物集中配置は、大和級のパクリと言う噂がある。なぜなら、１６インチガンを搭載するのに艦の長さを短くし尚且つパナマ運河を通過できる最大の艦幅である３３ｍにするためにバルジを艦腹に埋め込みつつ高速を出すという設計思想までもが大和型と一致するからだ。両艦のシルエットを見比べると実に良く似ている。大和の１５ｃｍの副砲を撤去すれば、大和とサウスダコタ級は姉妹艦かと見間違うばかりだ。同時期のノースカロライナ級やアイオワ級が２本煙突なのに、何故だかサウスダコタ級のみ煙突は１つで後ろに傾斜している。真似たとしか言えない。日本人はすごい。以上。
