Don't fall for it! NONE of the presidential candidates have offered any realistic solutions to skyrocketing gas prices. Yes, it does sound satisfying to tax the oil companies for "windfall profits", but who's really going to pick up the tab for that? The answer is ME AND YOU! The question we need to start asking congress is why are we at the mercy of OPEC when we have so much untapped oil right here in the U.S.?

Well its happened, i have decided i will vote for who ever can lower the gas prices. EVEN IF IT IS HILARY. I am a real conservitive but this is crazy how much gas cost. SO I SAY THIS I WILL VOTE FOR WHOEVER CAN LOWER GAS PRICES, DONT CARE ABOUT THE BORDER, IM AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE BUT IF THE PRESIDENT WHO LEGALIZES GAY MARRIAGE CAN LOWER GAS PRICES........ IM VOTING FOR THAT PERSON. I HATE TO SELL OUT BUT I DONT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY.

Someone needs to tell me how raising the taxes on oil companies will lower the cost of gas. When has a tax increase EVER lowered prices for consumers? Minimum wage increases raiset the cost of goods becasue they pass it along to the consumer. Same with this. You want to lower the cost of gas? Why not tap our own resources AND incentivise alternatives? MamiYankee, how's that $4.00 per gallon price treating you with your fella in office now?

Hmm... Domestic oil? Really? Nuclear Power? Here? Now? Really? The environmental cost of both of those are staggering (possibly going to cause the end of humanity) and the economic cost of nuclear energy is mind blowing. Of course, not only that but more nuclear energy equals serious security issues as more nuclear facilities are built more nuclear weapons materials exist and that enables more people to more access to more dangerous weaponry. All of that is bad, really, really, fucking bad.

Gas prices=Supply and Demand

Energy security=Domestic energy rather than foreign oil.

Solutions=Domestic oil (drill here)-yes, Nuclear Power-yes, Domestic Natural Gas-yes, Solar Power-yes, Wind Power-yes.

Conserve-yes, but do not stifle economic productivity.

i was under the impression that there's enough food to feed the entire world, it's just not all in the right places. doesnt plenty of food get wasted anyways? why not do something with it.
