PART I of IV
KARIBUNI TALES
An amateurish attempt to squeeze a year of adventures into a 2 hr film. What started out as a small project to pick out my favorite video clips and photos to show my family morphed into a documentary-type film filled with silly voice-overs and peculiar background music. In the process, I've gained a serious respect and admiration for film editors -- this stuff is brutally tedious and time-consuming.
I tried to keep personal and political commentary to a minimum, but got carried away at times. Please excuse occasional rambling.
I hope I was able to convey the excitement, as well as trials and tribulations of being on the road. And most importantly that Africa is more than just wars and poverty, but that it's a land of unparallelled beauty and immense diversity. Enjoy it for whatever its worth.

I have a question, so how did that ship get in the middle of no where? Did it used to be a river there or something?
