The right humerus should externally rotate at the start of the downswing, so that when the right elbow extends, it advances the clubhead directly on the plane into the ball. This 'karate chop' type motion gives us more speed for less effort.

  • @BirdieBlues It is not conscious. It is natural.. Rotation of the lower body leading the upper body increases the coil tension/compression that is ultimately unloaded into the back of the ball. I love his transition move. It looks super powerful..
