HM Armed Forces action figures

http://hmarmedforces.com/army.htm

A new range of military action figures for children has been launched

HM Armed Forces action figures
New HM Armed Forces action figures, Royal Marine Commando, an Army infantryman, a Royal Air Force pilot and a Royal Navy diver which are to go on sale from VE Day

The soldiers, sailors and pilots were designed by Character Options toy manufacturers in conjunction with the Army, Royal Navy and RAF to ensure the camouflage gear and weapons are authentic.

A total of 32 products will feature in the initial HM Armed Forces collection, including a Royal Marine Commando, an Army Infantryman and an RAF Fast Jet Pilot

Vehicles will also be available, such as a tank with spring-powered gun, a vertical take-off and landing with opening cockpit for the pilot, retractable landing gear and detachable spring-loaded wing missiles and a remote control hovercraft which travels over water and land

Further toys will be added to the range to provide children with the chance to play games and dress up, as well as a dedicated website

The toys are intended to fill the gap in the market left by figures popular with youngsters in the past such as Action Man

A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence said: "We are rightly proud to be celebrating our Armed Forces through the production of these new action figures"

The Armoured Infantryman wears jungle camouflage combats and includes a Light Anti-Tank Weapon (LAW) and .50 calibre machine gun in addition to the SA80A2 assault rifle

"It's a Long Way to Tipperary" Up to mighty London Came an Irishman one day As the streets are paved with gold Sure, everyone was gay Singing songs of Piccadilly, Strand and Leicester Square Till Paddy got excited And he shouted to them there... It's a long way to Tipperary, It's a long way to go. It's a long way to Tipperary To the sweetest girl I know! Goodbye Piccadilly, Farewell Leicester Square! It's a long long way to Tipperary, But my heart's right there.
