Listen to his albums before "Born in the USA" and than u'll know that stuff isn't imitating.
Listen to some bootlegs and than uu'll know the same.

Yes but Bruce is the encarnation of pure rock and roll he's elvis van buddy and brando all rolled into one he's also paying homage to van he's not ripping him off they are both greats...however bruce is better

Bruce is great, but for me van is better like composer and music player..
bruce is a brother for his fan,he is a great a show man, he has charisma, and his lyrics are beautiful and full of passion..but like i said, van is better to do and compose music..he is a genius, a innovator..
anyway, all know that bruce was influenced so much by morrison's music..Greetings From Asbury Park is a true example of this..

Bruce is very talented no one can deny, but Van has never had to do a cover of Bruce Springsteen. Van is an innovator. Bruce is an imitator. But I think they're
two of the best from the last 40 years.

and Bruce don't need to do a cover to be best than anyone.
He played this because he likes this song, nothing else.
Bruce have a lot of songs better than this for example.
