  • @Krisiun111 and 4X4 Jeeps where around long before land Rovers were invented, the first land rover was built on a jeep chassis ,so what's yer point

  • I would definitely buy this vehicle. I never knew it did all this. I'm tired of getting stuck in dirt, mud and snow. I have been considering renting this car for a week but wanted to see more about it. Now, I want to buy it and I haven't even driven or rented it yet. :)

  • IF THEY EVER PUT A DIESEL CUMMINS ENGINE IN THE RUBICON, NO OTHER CAR, TRUCK AND SUV CAN COMPARE

  • JEEPS ARE THE BEST 4X4 VEHICLES IN THE WORLD. LET PEOPLE THINK THAT A G-CLASS OR A ROVER IS BETTER, THEY ARE IGNORANT, JEEP FOR LIFE

  • @blue67k10 I take delivery this coming tuesday. BUt im pretty excited. Yea it was the same for jag, anything 04 and up is good, anything before that is hit and miss. But good to know. Maybe when i decide if i want another suv instead of the new jag cx coming out, ill take a closer look. Thanks for the good info, and not taking my original comment the wrong way.

  • @Jasshands1 I hope you are enjoying you new Jeep. We enjoy own Rubicon. I used to work in auto sales and i found if you buy a used car check the Carfax for repairs. If you see a lot stay away. This goes for any brand. The older Land Rovers (pre-2005) were not great. Lots of little gremlins. nothing that would leave you stranded. I have some neighbors with newer ones and we have all been very happy. I have the most miles on my 08' @ 82k. One has a LR4 and I am jealous of the power.

  • @Jasshands1 I kinda heard some years were bettter as are with most vehicles but other years were absolute garbage.

I ended up buying a 2012 sahara unlimited loaded, but i'm secretly jealous of the land rover I see everyday at work/college. ha ha ha

  • @blue67k10 wow really, I was planning on trading my 04 jag in for a newer lr3, but I read all the horror stories and how only some were good, I've always wanted one but after owning the jag, i Kinda had enough. The problem I had with jag wasnt teh motor or anything, it was stupid things like the heater, or the locks, transmission.... you get the idea.

Good to know though, what year is it?

  • @Jasshands1 The LR3 currently has almost 82,000 miles. NO break downs. Oil changes every 5,000 mile, brakes done about every about every 30,000 miles and tires about every 25,000 miles. Other than that this truck is NOT pampered. It is taken off road more often than my Rubicon because of back country camping with the family. I never owned a Rover before this one and have been very happy with the decision. The main reason I bought it was it had 7 seats. Hope this helped, Ha Ha Ha.

  • @blue67k10 how many times did the lr3 break down haha

  • What a JOKE this review is!!! I have a 2008 Land Rover LR3 and a 2010 Jeep Rubicon and this thing is a joke. My Father in law has one of these. They came to Colorado from Chicago and wanted to see the mountains. We took them on some mild trails, my wife and kids took LR3 and I went with the in-laws in the Jeep as he was inexperienced off road. We found out it has NO axle articulation ( feels very tippy) and electronic LSD struggled when the Land Rovers did not. I like Jeeps but not this one.

  • Lol he said its as capable as any other jeep offroad. And the wrangler rubicon has front and rear locking diffs. No comparison. You never see these things wheeling
