Abruzzo Earthquake survivors' protest gets charged by police
Two people injured in clashes with police when a protest by survivors of last year's Abruzzo earthquake arrived near Berlusconi's Rome residence.
Protestors are angry at the slow pace of reconstruction following the April 2009 quake that killed 308 people in their region.
Berlusconi was the focus of much of the 5,000 demonstrators rage
they claim his government has neglected them after a flurry of activity in the disaster's initial aftermath.
A young man from the devastated city who was bleeding from the head said:
''Look at the blood of a L'Aquila man. The only thing I'm guilty of is being an earthquake victim''.
''A whole city came to Rome to ask for help and got beaten'' (L'Aquila Mayor Cialente)
