MASSAGE ENVY. If you're a Massage Therapist and have any self respect or any respect for the Massage Therapy profession I urge you to STAY AWAY!!!!!!... I worked for M.E. for three months got tired of that slave labor DUMP and quit... The pay @ Massage Envy here in Florida is $15 an hour(you do not get more if you do Deep Tissue work on guest) WE ARE WORTH MORE THAN THAT!... Told

I am considering going to massage school in CT...I heard from a(my) massage therapist that I had that you need to get nude in front of others in school when practicing....is this normal??..Im not sure I believe him but why would he lie?

im taking a tour today at a local massage school hopefully my mom will let me enroll, (enrollment fee is 4000sumthing) she thinks ill get perverts, which im also scared of.

what massage places pay more- you mentioned massage envy... do they pay hourly or split the cost of a massage or whats this comissioned based how do i know what to decide on how i want to get paid

Massage Envy pay can vary. Where I live it's $15 an hour when you give a massage and $0 when you are not (So you are only paid when you massage...that is it). No guarantees, but honestly I think Massage Envy is a great place to start our career, because you can be busy from the start and get tons of experience, before you branch out on your own.
