yes it will cope well but engine temps are the one to watch, so i would recommend you upgrade the cooling system

are the 2.8 electronclly injected, im from Australia and ive got one for my first car and its definately not

@Woofer510510 your right the 2,8 (3L) is mechanical injection pump, thats why there are a few that have been turbocharged

im planning on putting a CT20 turbo on my 2.8 3L engine is it good and the engine can hold well by the way im rebuilding the engine too

I love the sound of the turbine when the exhaust is not muffled much, just put a smaller muffler/s on it :)

Nice Hilux too, love it.. searching for one too at the moment just not certain on which model yet. So many muddy mountains to play with!
