Indian constitution clearly says religious conversion must be person's wish...if he is forced or offered money to do so, then it is a crime. When govt did not take any actions against these christian missionaries, people became aggressive....we have always lived together as brothers and sisters, but when it comes to forceful conversions we become aggressive...What's wrong in protecting our religion?? How is that a terrorism??

@dmzind11 The gift of salvation from Jesus Christ does not need forceful methods or money to be effective. Our Christian contacts in India are honest, and would not force people to become Christians.

@VoiceOfTheMartyrsUSA : I'm not talking about all the Christian missionaries. Of course there are Christian ppl who help others without even thinking about the religion. Best example being Mother Teresa. We are really thankful to such people. But there exist a lot of other missionaries who have landed in India with a sole motive of converting people either by good or bad ways. I live in India and I know the situation.

@dmzind11 Anyone using violence in the name of religion dishonors his religion. Mohandas Gandhi practiced the art of non-violence and he was the father of his country. We see Indians beating their own countrymen and bringing dishonor to the memory of Gandhi and to the religion of Hinduism. For thousand of years, Hindus have forced "untouchability," burned widows and killed female infants. Wouldn't Hindus do well to heed a Christian message of non-agression and "love thy neighbor as thyself?"

@sweetsweatyfeet All people are free to believe what they wish, but it is the goal of Christians to tell everyone that they can choose to believe that Jesus Christ is their Savior. Christians don't want people to follow the same belief for vain or arrogant reasons: they believe that those who aren't Christians are doomed to Hell. It would be hateful to know the truth and not tell others, especially when the consequence of not believing in the truth is eternity in Hell.

@VoiceOfTheMartyrsUSA throughout history the Christian Crusades left a legacy of oppression and death---hardly driven by love. While most Christians today are no longer violent about imposing their religion---they still have no respect for other beliefs.

Frankly I don't care if believe Christians "believe they follow the one and only true god". So does every other religion. Leave people free to believe what they want---and everyone will get along better.
