@LHracing34 im sure you probably have figured it out by now since its been 3 months since your post.. but lincoln uses a capo on the 5th fret for the recording and plays up there the whole time. if you need a good instructional video, themaliktwins has one

Yeah, very well done...I have not messed with song yet, but wanna figure it out sometime. I can't see where it's capo'd but assuming it is on the 5th if its in C so u can use the G string as the open C? Looks like you are playing G, D, Am, C in the chorus relative to the capo of course. Lincoln likes to do the open string licks, but great lead playing...u using a Pod type unit or tube amp?

Hey, I'm curious about the capo on this tune? Cant you just play without it and ride the G string while playing part of the c major scale on that single string for opening riff?
