Ya it was a changer alright. Choosing an incompetent narrow-minded harpy does take thinking outside the box.
A pro-life woman does not have any more credibility on the abortion issue than a pro-choice woman. Or a man. She chose to have a baby with down syndrome because she believes that merely existing is all that matters, instead of thinking about the quality of life.
I'm glad that Kolbe is out of the closet, but as a republican he's still out of touch.

As a fellow Arizona Republican, as well as personal friend and supporter of John McCain from the early '80s Kolbe was obligated to make a "best face" argument on the Palin pick.
