  • How has the RCV engine been as far as reliability goes?

One guy at our club has one and loves it.

Every time he brings the plane with it to the club it starts very easily and he hardly ever has to touch the tuning.

Considering the T28 as my next plane and considering an RCV or a Saito 100 4 stroke for it.

  • This is not actually my model but I see it at the club most weekends. The guy has had no probs at all with it. In fact he is fitting a smoke system this weekend so look out for another video soon.

  • Hi.

It seems to me that when the air-speed falls it is stable.

    Is it?

Does it have any bad-flying characteristics?

Was the build straight-forward without probs?

  • Hi. This model is a Black Horse ARTF kit so no probs building it. It flies like a dream at high and very low speed.

  • thank's modelflyer.

From what you've seen so far flying the plane,

    will an OS 55AX enough?

    Or should i go with a 75AX?

  • The OS55ax WONT be enough, go with the 75AX

  • Sweet babe! I have one Beautiful in the box and in the sky. Fitted with RCV 91 and Hobbico retract that works like the one posted on utube under "T28 with retract"

  • I have a RCV-91 in a Paul Bolton Defiant from Fly Boy Models, easiest 4-stroke I've ever tuned right out of the box and I fly at 4,750 ft.

  • Awesome!

Cant wait to see it with smoke :)

  • Nice!!! I have one. I'm useing a Magnum 61XL 2-cycle engine.A homemade Pitts style muffler. A set of Hobbico retractable landing gear.
