  • He is the all time greatest. Even though his life was short, nobody could put the words and feelings of the ordinary person into a song like him

  • Hank sings from the heart. Nobody can put what ordinary people feel into a song like he could. That's what made him so great. He didn't feel or act like he was better than anyone else. There will never be another like him

  • You and me Both, Hank. You and me both..

  • Saw that wonderful little Melissa Monroe (maybe age 15 at the time) sing this on the stage of Ryman in the summer of 1951 with her Dad Bill and Uncle Charlie and the Bluegrass Boys backing her. She brought the Opry audience to their feet. She had a voice like an angel. Our loss, Melissa passed away in 1990. And there will never, ever in a million years be another great like Hank Williams.
