Many of the experiences children face prior to their adoption are frightening, confusing and disheartening.

  • For these kids, they got lucky but what about those that didn't get adopted? What happesns to them?

  • @orlandobabe If children in foster care are not adopted by the time they turn 18, it's called "aging out". Essentially it means they have legally reached adulthood and are now solely responsible for themselves. Often this means no place to live, support for college or other education, in fact no support at all. There are some states, however, that do have programs for children who age out of the foster care system. But overall it's typically much more difficult for those who are not adopted.

  • @TackyRackyComixNEO __ SAME HERE. I do know that my biological mother was a 14 year old homeless prostitute. But I don't know anything else. Not even her name. For me... being adopted has been a huge blessing. I love my family who raised me completely as their own regardless of the fact that I don't look like them. Family is those you love, blood... means nothing when it comes to the power of the heart.

  • my wife and i are looking to adopt , we have told the social workers we are not intereseted in age , race , disability or multi siblings we will consider them all . every child deserves a chance and we have raised 3 of our own kids who are now at uni etc so we just want to give another child the same chances ours took for granted . its that simple . i wish you all well .

  • @1wetstick look rudie,they don't look adopted!

do you think people that are adopted are ugly? well just look in the mirror.you'll see a beast!

  • @shesamotherof12 OY,

the parents did NOT abuse them

  • You can tell these kids were coached by social workers on what to say and feel.

    Adoption is human trafficking.

Don't believe these videos put out by people trying to make a buck off these kids hardships.

  • @SilentMastaKeba same story bro. I busted my ass in high school and couldn't go to college because my "adoptive parents" were stuck up rich people and treated me like a dog. i wish i wasn't adopted at least I could have got get federal loans and grants when I hit 18. I hit the streets on my 18th birthday and so did my sister who was also adopted.

  • @adoptuskids all children who age out automatically qualify for federal pell grants and stafford loans.please stop giving misinformation.

  • the mixed boy is cuute:)

  • @SilentMastaKeba These forever homes aren't what they are cracked up to be. It's time to stop child trafficking through foster care. I hope you can find you real family and restore your original birth certificate and real name
