This band was featured in the 80's movie Tuff Turf with Kim Richards and James Spader, and Robert Downey jr. They were in the movie and on the Soundtrack. Great little movie.

His name is Max Carl (Gronenthal), but today he goes by Max Carl, lead singer formerly of .38 special and now Grand Funk Railroad. If you want to hear more of him, stay on Youtube and go to Jack Mack and the Heart Attack MTV and you will be treated to about 45 minutes worth of Max and Jack Mack for a new years eve special in 82 from MTV...............it's well worth the search.

Oh man, thanks for posting this clip, I was probably at this show. They were the Thursday house band at Club Lingerie on Sunset, and Tuesday night at a club on Pico, can't remember the name, and maybe it was the other way around. But it was always a great night, always a lot of fun, the entire room would
move in unison during "Heart Attack Dance". These guys could flat-out play, and with Max up front on "A Girl Like You", well, it was the best of everything. Especially on a summer might.
