Short demonstration of the Yamaha CP33 digital stage piano. I improvise some simple tunes to show off the various sounds and voices of this instrument.

On my website http://www.originalsolopiano.com I publish a new solo piano composition every week that you can download for free. Or join my podcast!

  • what is the polyphony on this?

  • what's the name of first song?

  • @HammernHeads Yes ,you can chose:Hard Medium or Soft

  • sehr gute und leichte demontsration

  • have you used any pedal in the video??

  • Is there a setting on the keyboard to control the touch sensitivity beyond the 3 options button?

  • I went down to Sweetwaters in IN with my Roland KC500 and played all their digitals next to each other. I have gigged on the CP33 in clubs and it's good. Test it against the p-155 and you'll hear the difference. Even the on board P.A. on the 155 isn't bad at all for a small room it beats the CP33 for sound and sensitivity for sure and is only another couple hundred bucks.

  • @DustinNesom I have a P-155. The p-155 is the latest portable by yamaha. They have the stereo sampling, the sustain pedal harmonics, and all the other good stuff. It really does sound authentic. the CP-33 is slightly older and has 3 piano samples per key. The P-155 has 4 piano samples per key. On all models they modify the samples that are recorded (in this case 3) and make them sound like they are striking harder or softer. Its fluent but the P-155 has a more authentic sound that I see.

  • the kurzweil sp2 is soo much better

  • you r very skill'd man , your playing was a true relaxing tune's ,,, thumb up and favorite.
