Occupy, Talk, Act

I was inspired to see so many people standing up and taking action at #OccupyWallSt (#ows) and #OccupyLA (and all occupations across the country). For so long people have expressed their grievances, but never actually taken to the streets and demanded to be heard by those in power. Now that they have, many media outlets and other dissenters have criticized the movement for lack of a clear message, but maybe they're just not listening. Maybe if we shed our cynicism, quit being so dismissive, and actually took a moment to talk to everyone, we'd learn that we have more that brings us together than pushes us apart. If everyone joins in the conversation, there is no telling what we can accomplish.
