Islam & Apostasy

We are familiar with the violent side of Islam. Here is a video grab from Aljazeera TV which shows Islam's inhumane side where a woman is not only denied her right to embrace the religion of her choice but also a life with her family. This happens in "moderate" and "progressive" Malaysia. It doesn't matter what Islam preaches, it's how it is practised. In Malaysia, apostates are fined and jailed and are forced to undergo Islamic indoctrination in rehabilitation centres. Eventhough the Malaysian Federal Constitution (the supreme law of Malaysia which all laws, including Syariah laws, must be infra vires to it) guarantees freedom of religious belief as in Article 11, the Malaysian government through its Islamic enforcement departments and also some Muslim civil court judges are denying Malaysians this fundamental human right. These civil court judges are even forcing non-Muslims to seek "justice" from Syariah courts which according to the law are meant for Muslims only. Such illegal judgements and the usurping of the Federal Constitution are being condoned by the Malaysian government. Can you believe that even the law lecturer in the video said that the supreme law of Malaysia (the Federal Constitution) has to be in line with Syariah laws whereas shouldn't the opposite be obvious? And the Islamic advisor to the Malaysian government, on record, said that apostasy can be punishable by death in Islam! Islamophobia? Open your eyes and ears and judge for yourself! To those who claim that there is no forcing in Islam and that Islam allows the freedom of religious belief, I challenge you to go to Malaysia NOW and help free these victims and change the Malaysian Syariah so that it is in accordance with "true" Islamic teaching and basic human rights!

You are absolutely right that if a Muslim do not believe in Allah, he is not a Muslim anymore. But in Malaysia, the Muslim authorities will ensure that that apostate go thru hell to make sure he remain a Muslim mentally and officially. Any different from the Nazis? Muslims do not have the basic right to believe what they want to believe. Why force an apostate to remain Muslim when nothing is accepted by Allah? Worse, the hypocrisy of welcoming Muslim converts from other religions! That's Islam!

Syariah courts only have jurisdiction over Muslims. If the religion of a person is in question, then it is for the civil courts to determine. But Art 121(1A) is being abused by syariah courts to even determine the religion of a person, which means that it already accept that the person is a Muslim! What is there to determine then! When it involves non-Muslim, ie when a party of the couple converts to Islam, how can the non-Muslim spouse seek justice? Is this what Islam call "justice"?

Everywhere, markets, stadia, churches, airports, schools, and even mosques, people fear for their lives 'cos of "defenders" of Islam. Muslims are even killing each other in the name of Islam and Allah! Can there be peace with Muslims around? Almost all the hot spots in the world involve Muslims! What is the real Islam? Are these "defender" Muslims? Islam has beaten the world back to the Dark Ages! What are your answers?

If treason in Islam is punishable by death, is apostasy punishable by death too, as is happening in this 21st Century? Why are apostates mentally and physically tortured in the name of Islam as in this video? No compulsion? Muslims are totally deluded about Islam. What "path to righteousness" allows mere mortals to kill others? Yes, Islam is not a religion! It is a cult! It is a global terror organisation, where any Muslim next door can be a suicide bomber!

If the Quran is the words of Allah, it must not contain even an error. But modern embryology has proven the rubbish in the Quran, do you still believe that it is the word of Allah? Of course! Being Muslims you have been brainwashed and indoctrinated to go into denial and accept everything in the Quran. That explains why violence and terrorism is so rampant in Islam. Muslims just become non-thinking zombies when it comes to Islam. Simple principle of right and wrong is a big confusion to Muslims!

@fgahadith In Malaysia uninformed Muslim leaders are claiming Muslim "rights" to the name "Allah"! But Christians in the Middle East were already using Allah as God long before the existence of Mohamad and Islam! In Malaysia, Christians are only allowed to use "Tuhan" (Malay for "God")! That's when these Muslim idiots put their foot in their mouth! In the Malaysian national anthem (Negaraku), it is the Christian God (Tuhan) who blessed the King (head of Islam in Malaysia!) a safe rule!! LOL!!

@fgahadith In other democratic countries, you are absolutely right. But in Malaysia, you are flawed. The Malay "race" is defined in the Constitution as Muslim among other characteristics. If a Malay gives up Islam, then by definition he is no more of the Malay "race", therefore is not entitled to all the unfair privileges accorded to Malays at the expense of non-Malay Malaysians. The Islam practised in Malaysia not only monopolises a race, it also monopolises certain words/language, eg Allah.

study more about malaysian law. there's a provison in art 121(1) for the exception in jurisdiction of the syariah courts.

although the federal constitution is the supreme law, the muslims still have to follow the muslim law which is syariah law. all the matters is being settled, all the law expertise is figuring out the matter so the muslims and the non-muslims could live in peace. stop making a big issue out of it when it was only a remote case.
