Illegal alien gang members are among the least violent of Chicanos or Mexican Americans, Crips, mostly Black, and Bloods mostly black.
It is really disheartening to hear this type of propaganda speech to stop illegal alien gang crime, when the problem with gangs in Los Angeles is with our US born. We have had about 600 murders since Jan 2007, and all but just a few were committed by American born youth. This rhetoric ignores the heart of the gang problem.

With witnesses pointing out that a Hispanic was responsible for the murder, the only logical assailant would be a member of 18th Street, a predominately Mexican-American gang with some illegal alien members. Reports that 18th Street gang has a membership that is 80% illegal is false. Of the County's total gang population approximately five to 10% are illegal.

the mayor of LA, the former gang member himself loves his illegal gang members and though this law needs to be changed, he wont do it so as to not make his people upset. both legal and illegal.
the mayor and police chief need to be sued BY NAME in any lawsuit the family might bring

To GET RID OF THE ILLEGALS:
Just round up a few thousand, as an example to the rest. Then FINE and FORCE-work them [on chaingangs, road crews, etc.] to pay off the fines before deporting them.
When the rest see what's happening, they will leave too.
Also, make the employers of illegals pay all deportation costs, NOT taxpayers. That will also serve as an example to other employers of illegals, who will quickly lay off the illegals working for them.
Ask the feds to prosecute the mayor & chief
