no added flavours put into Scotch, try GlenDronach for natural coffee notes or Kahula.

Hi Ralfy, Is there is a coffee favored Scotch out there?
-
great vids! at 43 i finally have the taste for scotch, i just bought the Fiddich 12 for my 2nd bottle.
Question: about a month ago i was asked to find a GOOD bottle of scotch for a friend to give as a gift and could spend $100-200. i didn't know much but came up with a bottle of Fiddich 21 for $150 from an online dealer.
Money isn't really a deal with him so i didn't mind if i overspent .. but he never got back to me to let me know if his brother enjoyed the gift. is it possible he hated it?

he gave teachers highland cream 88 points and this one 83 i fully agree with him ..
Funny, you mentioned you should start someone new to single malts with something that isn't heavy like a Islay whisky. My first single malt was Bowmore 12 year old, and I loved it. I quickly became a single malt enthusiast. What are your favourite single malts, and what would you recommend?
