"Vacation" (December of 2006)
On the same day we received our first camera we decided to shoot something right away, anything, we couldn't wait. Barely able to contain ourselves we ended up writing and shooting the following short film, all in one afternoon.
Shot with available light, on an HVX-200; but only in standard definition since the our P2 cards hadn't even arrived yet! The pace in the edit is far too slow, but it is very interesting to take a look back and watch this first effort with zero help, just the two of us doing everything for the first time. So here it is, our first hands-on experience with only our acting training to help us through the intricacies of film production.
Respect and support your local filmmakers. And enjoy their work!
Great! Very well done!

aside from the 24fps shooting how did u achieve that quality. I am having a hard time achieving that professional look with my hvx200. I get tons of grain and a video look with lag. I see that you are have achieved it. can you please educate me on how to get it.
