Palestinian pilgrims remain trapped in Egypt - 01 Jan 07

Palestinian pilgrims, including some Hamas figures, are stranded at camps in Egypt, demanding to be allowed to return home though a crossing not controlled by Israel.

Two elderly women have died while waiting to be allowed to go.

The pilgrims are returning from performing Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

The pilgrims fear they'll be arrested if they pass through the Aouja crossing, which Israel controls.

And the Egyptian government won't let them through the Rafah crossing, unless an EU official is present.

Al Jazeera is the only international network which has gained access to the area.

Israel is another countery that want to destroy another countery and it has done that already. Tey have taken 90% of Palastina and now they want 100%. They say that they want peace but actions speek louder than words and with their actions of killing Palastinians every day they show otherwise. The goverment isn't otherwise they wouldn't continue building in those ereas. And the Goverment also dont want to give up east Jeruzalem where the third Holyst Mosque Al Aqsa is. I thought the same up until the camp david conference in 1999. i think that both the hamas and the fatah want us out, the only difference between them is that the hamas say it in bublic, and the Fatah say it not in public.. believe me that 805 of the Israelis are ready to a two states slution in 1967 borders.
