This is the second part of the footage from the Peterborough Model Railway Exhibition. First of all, there are some stills of the EM gauge track which you can buy in kits with a small diorama of a yard that was used to show this super detailed track in action. The rolling stock that was used was a Bachmann Class 08 in Blue livery and a Heljan Class 47 in BR Railfreight livery. After that I briefly film a T Gauge layout which is a Fictional Japanese layout which uses the Series 103 units in the Osaka Loop Line (Orange), Kansai Line (Green) Keio Line (Yellow) and the Tohoku Line (Blue) liveries. The scale of T-gauge is either 1:350 scale or 1:400 scale. Next is a short video of the Triang Mimic Motorways Roadway System which uses powered road vehicles to enhance a Model Railway although compared to the newer Faller Road system where the vehicles are pulled by magnets. The triang version looks a bit crude, but it was very advanced back in its day and it is better than static traffic I think. Next up is an LNER & British Railways OO gauge layout set in the late 1950's, although I only filmed two shots of the layout because the limited space on my Memory Card. The next layout in this video is Alanbeck Junction which was exhibited by John Burn. Alanbeck Junction is intended to portray a small part of the British Railway network during in the period from 2000 to 2003 and is a Modern Image layout. It is situated where a busy cross-country line joins up to a double track main line and has a busy intersection and is set in the North West of England as demonstrated by the rolling stock that was running on this layout. The loop is situated between the station and the junction is used by trains that need to "run-round" their stock and also provides access to the freight sidings as shown by the cotswold Class 08 Shunter. The rolling stock that is used on this layout shown in the video is a Hornby Class 60 that is numbered 60007 in Loadhaul livery hauling a rake of Bachmann BYA steel carriers. A Hornby Class 08 Diesel Shunter running light towards the station shortly followed and passed by a Bachmann Class 158 in Trans Pennine Maroon livery heading East towards the station. Then a Central Trains 158 departs Alanbeck Station and will head Westbound past the camera. A Heljan Class 47 hauling a rake of Hornby MkII's all in Virgin Trains livery is seen heading towards the station shortly after. Then a Bachmann Class 66 in Freightliner livery hauling some Bachmann Intermodal Container wagons is seen heading west from the station. Next up the Hornby Class 08 reappears with a shorter rake of Bachmann BYA steel carriers which will head towards the steelworks when the line is cleared which will be when 56058 has passed with a rake of EWS MEA wagons which concludes this part of the video. Please watch part 3 for more footage of the other layouts that were at this event.
