The Corporation is a 2003 Canadian documentary film written by Joel Bakan, and directed by Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott. The documentary is critical of the modern-day corporation, considering its legal status as a class of person and evaluating its behaviour towards society and the world at large as a psychiatrist might evaluate an ordinary person

@michaelchristopherj You need to see my 2 part channel video; after you seen the video, feel free to ask questions.

@Mike10four See, that's what I don't get. What are you talking about? Our "rights" are basically what we can and cannot do, based on what the government, or whatever power allows us to do. Other than that, we can do whatever the fuck we want. Thus, they aren't considered rights at all. Like freedom of speech gives us the right to say whatever we want. We, however don't have the right to smoke weed. I'm for widening our rights as much as possible but it is useless to create arbitrary definitions.

@michaelchristopherj No my Friend, our Rights are from the Laws of Nature not from some ideology!

@Mike10four Well, these rights spring from socialist ideals, around the Age of the Enlightenment.

@michaelchristopherj Since you seem to be a well informed socialist, and you commented earlier about your belief on the source of our unalienable Rights; every good socialist should know the true source of their Rights as summarized in my channel video. The foundation to any ideology is about rights. I challenge you to spread the true source of our unalienable Rights to all your socialist friends; and perhaps, this world will become a better place to live.

@Mike10four Okay, what does any of this have to do with socialism?

@michaelchristopherj My Friend, you need to see my 2 part channel video about Rights. Then, let’s talk.

@Mike10four One, I was born here and so were my ancestors. I see no legitimate reason to leave. Two, there isn't many choices for socialism and three, I'm in college. And the US is meant to be a social democracy. And your rights are given to you by your gov. If you lived in China you wouldn't have many rights. If you lived on an island, rights wouldn't exist because you could do whatever you want. Rights only exist inside governments and include things which the government allows you to do.
