  • @MCHAWKING2k6 Of course they didn't call the timeout so the keeper was exposed for jumping the gun and had to restart the clock. Obviously this was advantageous to the celtics but stuff like this happens all the time (see shot clocks being reset or not being reset, extra time running off clocks after a basket when the home team is up, etc). I'd hardly call it "Sternball" as this sort of thing could have happened in any court. Of course if your IQ is less then 90, you would cry conspiracy.

  • I remember noticing this. The reason the clocked stopped is because the celtics still had timeouts (you can hear announcers talking about it), and its pretty standard to call TO there after they got the ball over half court. Seeing as this was in Boston, I'm sure the time keeper was expecting the TO and wanted to stop the clock as fast as possible to give Celtics as much time as he could (time keepers are local workers, so of course they are fans of the home team).

  • Wow...lol..Boston vs L.A is more money..Boston has played good, but everyone knows its all about the money.

  • they will claim its a clock maufunction, bullshit. that is blatant cheating
