@shaxmitra it is completely stupid and meaningless especially since we live in the age of technology with ten times better synthetic cloths. I understand skinning an animal out of need but out of vanity? that is just cruel
-
@shaxmitra What about synthetic fur? :P
-
but clearing thousands of km2 of forests just so you can grow your crops is OOOOOOOO-K !
-
@shaxmitra as a hunter i actually agree with you i think it is a disgrace that people would kill anything for 'sport' or fur i will not kill anything i wont eat but on the same token the animal rights activists who released them from the fur farms here in the uk were very stupid because mink have absolutly destroyed british wild habitat. mink are seen as a 'pest species' here now and people are legally allowed to snare, trap, poison and shoot them so what did the activists achieve?
-
where do i get one?
-
@shaxmitra That doesn't mean they aren't delish
-
@shaxmitra Cutting grass to keep them short is inhumane if we go by your logic. Yes, grass do have feelings.
-
To everyone freaking out over fur farms: unless you are a vegetarian shut up -.-
And anyone who thinks faux fur is a good alternative obviously doesn't know it's made of petroleum, pollutes the environment when made, and will sit in landfills for hundreds of years once thrown away.
Treatment of food animals is often way worse than mink farmed in north America. Just make sure the fur is actually from a humane supplier, like you should be doing with your food.
This is a cute vid, I hope to hav
-
thumbs up if you want to hunt mink
NO fur is good fur, period.
And yes, I am a vegetarian. Skinning animals for their fur is meaningless and inhumane.

I think they're pretty animals but since being released from mink farms in the UK they've become a real problem in my area, I myself have lost several pet ducks to them and I know many people who've had their poultry almost completely wiped out... so I kinda wish they were still in the farms!!

How about the minks being in their natural habitat, in America ? The problem is not the minks, it is the laws and politics making it possible to breed theese wild animals in fur farms. The problem is in your case the gouvernment permitting theese bastards of animal abusers breeding and keeping theese animals. As I said, theese animals are wild and have nothing to do inside a cage, when they escape and survuve in your nature, it is actually no surprise.

These animals are so beautiful and it hurts me to know that you are keeping them from their native habitat. I hope you are taking very very good care of these beautiful creatures. Fur farms need to be eliminated and these creatures should be set free. Again, nice video.

I don see why you should hurt? I took these animals home to provide a safe enviroment when they were starving and cold.
I had them and gave them what ever I could to make sure they were happy, and by the looks I think they were.
Last summer, when they were 1 years of age, I released them from home, after knowing for a fact they could hunt and kill by them self, they did, and they left.
So dont hurt anymore, they are free :)
