I love how they go on about mistakes in textbooks, when something is shown to be erronious, it is corrected and we know the subject better than before. But, call them on something say, the fact chapter 1 of genesis says animals before man and woman, and chapter 2 says man before animals then women, no correction is to be expected.

i would pass a lie tax, which taxes any news, commerical, or churches for spreading misinformation or half truths. this would essentially destroy all political commercials, FOX news, and most churches
just imagine where we could be if such lies came with a serious penalty? perhaps people will actually care about factual statements

As much as i'd love to see that happen, i must say that it is overkill. I say what we should do different is tax the churches. If possible, specifically target young-earth right winged fundamental churches. Any group that says the bible is infallible. Tax them.
