Rainbow - Garden Fête (1 of 2)

A garden fête is being held in the Rainbow garden, featuring Zippy's treasure hunt, George's sweet competition, Rod's lucky dip, Jane's guess-the-weight competition, and Freddy's white elephant stall. A maypole is set up in the garden, and Rod, Jane and Freddy dance around it with some children while singing a song. Bernie Clifton opens the fête, and reads today's story, "Mildred and the White Elephant".

First broadcast in 1984.
