  • @cathofaithdef Why? Roman-Catholics are heretics...

  • Wow this is amazing!

  • @ndl2 2) wasn't pope Grigory who ordered the crusade a Father.... He was against the Bible...If ur honest to urself u fill admit this is not it... Christianity was full of power... not rituals.... Now we have rituals and no power... If u study carefully u will see that all those rituals existed before and are pagan rituals such as the worship of the birth of the sun(25dec) or prayng to the dead( now saints) from old Egypt... The roman gods only changed names Jupiter is now Saint Peter and so on

  • @ndl2 Christians are not Jews read the Bible it clearly says that God made their hearts of stone for a while so us can turn to Him to make them jealous of God...and He will turn to them after again. Some Jews are Christians but Christians are not Jews because if ur a Christian then ur no longer a Jew or a Greek or any other thing...read your Bible.. and about the tradition you said the key word"the Fathers".I love that, I'm talking to you about the apostles and Jesus and u talk about the Fathers

  • @ndl2 contiuing... This "street clothing" was then altered for practicality as needed. As for us not being Jews, if Jesus was a Jew, who did not come to replace the law, but to fulfull it, the Christians are most certainly Jews. The early Christians, after all, first went to the Temple to worship, and then went to one of their homes for the agape feast (the Eucharist). It was not until the Christians were cast out of the syngogues that Christianity as a new religion developed.

  • @dorinFeher Actually you are incorrect, the early church certainly had tradition and ceremony. Read the Didache (also known as the teachings of the twelve apostles), and Hippolytus of Rome, any of the early church fathers really. The dress of the apostles and Jesus is a very interesting question, certainly their normal day to day clothing would not have been that elaborate, but the vestments of Orthodox clergy is based on the "street clothing" of the Roman empire.

  • @WeenisLad but we are Christians and not Jews .... plz dont tell me early church had such ceremonials ... the early church had no traditions as there was no church before it ...;) logically ;)

  • @dorinFeher

In the Temple, certainly. Take a look at the old Jewish liturgy. It's remarkably similar to this.

  • Does Jesus or any of His disciples did any of those pagan rituals u guyz doing?? or were they dressed the same?

  • catholics and orthodox together AS ONE.
