Holy cow! I totally remember this skit! I remember as a child (and still today) thinking how out of character Mumford acted...to not actually do a magic trick and decive Grover lol...I do like the nonchalance in Mumford's voice: "You didn't say anything about magic"...and the jig in time to the end fanfare was funny. But what did they do to make that sound that we hear just before Grover looks at the camera?
