Video montage composed with images from flickr.com (via Creative Commons license attribute.) Music mix of TV On The Radio, Deerhunter, The Color Purple soundtrack, and Coldplay. Small segment of 1945 public domain military documentary on D-Day also included. All words on screen from poem, "Jacob" (to see whole composition head over to myspace page under 'gab3334.') You can hear TV On The Radio's "Halfway Home" on their Dear Science album, (Interscope 2008,) Deerhunter's "Little Kids" on "Microcastle" (4AD 2008,) "Maybe God is Trying..." from the Color Purple (Dreamworks 1985, Quincy Jones and Andrae Crouch.) Coldplay's "A Rush of Blood..." (Parlophone 2002) showcases these 2 songs, "Daylight" and "Amsterdam." None of the music in video is mine, and this montage is a non-profit piece. Thanks for watching.
