Carnival of Souls (1962)

Mary Henry is enjoying the day by riding around with two friends but everything goes wrong when challenged to a drag race and their car gets forced off of a bridge. The car sinks into the murky depths, and all three women are assumed drowned. Some time later Mary emerges unscathed from the river. She tries to start a new life by becoming a church organist but Mary finds herself haunted by a ghostly figure that instills fear and dread into her.

Such a wondrously creepy movie and acting. LOL, I don't know what that minister is talking about, that was some awesome playing.

I had to laugh during the church scene where she is playing. I am a church organist, and I am sorry folks, but it really does feel that creepy when I am sitting at the organ console and playing a church service...and the priest coming in and stoping her, condemning her playing - I was fired like that once. I relate to this girl, and so do a lot of organists stuck in such ridiculous jobs...
