One Naperville driver found out first hand just how dilegent the checking of red light camera tickets in Melrose Park IL is. He received a $100 citation for this completely legal right turn???
For footage on what Redspeed and Melrose Park PD should have done at this very intersection, please visit http://www.chicagolive.com/news/red_light_cameras_catch_violat/
Obviously verification procedures need looked at here. No way was this video checked.

I just got my photo enforcement ticket dimissed after I wrote the mayor. They tried to say in 2010 my time to contest was up but I contested in 2007 and kept the responce. acs-inc com is the vendor responcible for my ticket and claims their systems world wide need little training and are indisputable. I made a video of the orginal ticket and am planning another.

All Chicago traffic signal yellows are 3 seconds with posted speed limits of 30 MPH. Three seconds by law is inadequate by Federal Regulations.
