Hi I recently found myself allergic to Soy and I keep having a hard time trying to stay away from SOY products as they are IN EVERYTHING that we eat day to day...so very weird to suddenly be allergic to all my favorite foods...ok so I went to the store and found they have a contains list that lists all allergens in products to save you time from going through the whole ingredients lists...how nice and thoughtful...but wait a min. I trusted it and what? it had soy in it? yep sure did...and it wasnt listed in the included ingredients? WHAT? Oh and sorry about not following up with a funny video I had to go to the ER later to get benadryl from them and pepsid...but it still wasn't really helping...now I find I am allergic to the dye in benadryl and have to get the dye free...oh happy day! NOT!

  • @RabekaJo I actually meant make your own food rather than buying boxed processed crap. I explained that in the first comment that you deleted.

If you believe in god, you should believe that your body is a temple. A beautiful creation that demands respect. Are you being kind to your body? You don't even have to read the label to know how awful it is for you. A quick glance at the length of it is all it takes.

  • @Animacondo I do believe in God...I don't know how2cook...plus I lack motivation2cook/fix anything anyway...due2all the happenings in my life...if u watch my other vlogs u wouldn't blame me4lacking motivation & being depressed...I am as kind2my body as I can be...quick fixed meals on my part being pop it in the microwave/pop it in the toaster&I have my meal ready...get me some healthy ones of those&I will eat whatever health foods they offer...I didn't delete any comment did I? I dont recall

  • @Animacondo I didn't delete anything hun, but yes I agree its all bad for us, but I seriously have gotten asked what I was doing because I was taking so long to shop. This allergy stuff is a thing of my past now I am cured so I don't have to worry about nothing anymore I eat what I want or like and I do plan to eat healthier just have to get my depression under control and I think I have the right set of pills for 1st time in my life...have a nice life dear, sorry if I did delete but I never do

  • @Animacondo Well I never delete unless it hurts my feelings or attacks me in some way...so if you came all attacking at me I might have deleted your comment...I agree my body is a temple but Jesus came and saved me from the life the old Testament claims for us to do...I am saved through the Son of God Jesus Christ...I am working on things, its just taking time...and I have had set backs again watch a few videos of mine and you will see my discouragement and reason for being depressed...thanks

  • Don't rely on big business to spoon-feed you.

  • @Animacondo ha! true...but seriously I don't have time to read those labels and the people who do get asked to leave the store because the workers think they are stealing things...so it is their best interest to list all allergens in a quick to read sentence to save lives....though now I am laughing also because I am Healed of all my food allergens by the Grace of God I am Healed! so ya don't have to worry about this part of my life no more

  • @RabekaJo I spend 3 times as long at the store so I can read labels. NO ONE has ever asked me what I was doing or tried to kick me out. Not only have I never been asked to leave, but when I ask an employee about allergens they are ALWAYS happy to help me. Never trust those labels because a lot of things can mean soy that won't be listed (vitamin e, xanthan gum, glycerin, citric acid, etc.).

  • @kellynolan82 hey sorry i didn't reply. youtube wouldn't let me so i got a new account. i am allergic to soy as well. have you gone to this new website its fairly new (released last week). It has some good ideas on living without soy. drop in a note to the team on the site as to how it is, food suggestions, or how it could be improved. it originated in australia but expanded to the US and canada last week.

  • @kellynolan82 it just depends on the person I think on the severity of the reaction and FDA don't think the minimum bothers most allergy suffers...but I beg to differ...and beg for my life later in the ER...though its been since I uploaded this video we r talking on since I been to the ER due to my allergies (Knock on wood) but figuring out I was allergic to the benadryl was most helpful to prevent my visits to the ER lol something about treating allergies and adding to them not a good mix lol

  • @kellynolan82 now with the testing of foods 2see if there is any soy protein in a food I have no idea how that works...I just know they can collect the food you react to and run tests the levels of soy and yes FDA totally screwed it up saying manufacturers don't have to list soy if its a certain minimal amount traced in the food...I hate that...I chew gum that has soy lecithin in it...I am in the ER later that nite...same with I eat something thats manufactured in a factory that produces soy ER
