Thanks for the tutorial. Yesterday I made something resembling a hollow bead and only on my 3rd attempt walls are thick and uneven and the bead is not very round but its hollow.

Very nice to see you working with a hothead -- I made my first hollow bead yesterday from a vague memory of how to do it, but I was trying to build the disks toward each other. I see you don't have to do that, they just collapse in! Looking forward to making some big beads using this technique. Thanks for the vid!

Wow...good to see what a hot head can do. do you ever have any trouble with opaque glass turning grey in the hot head?

No trouble at all. The only time my glass gets that way is if its not in the proper part of the flame.

Thanks. I tried making this tonight and I almost did it my first try. i let the first half get too cool...so i'll try again. Thank you for the great video and great technique. I like the one on your etsy account filled with black and white seed beads.

Thanks. Keep trying. I don't think I even made one that was usuable untill my 8th try. They are hard at first, but when you get the hang of it you will be happy you stuck it out.
