  • and yeah, your right video guy it does need to be pretty hot, way hotter than you have it...

  • @258legolas technically it could, but it would take forever between heats, like so long you would not want to even bother. the initial heat could take as long as 30 minutes that way. unless you had a huge fire fed with like pine wood but even then, you would be going through wayy to much wood to make it economical. just build a brake drum forge.

  • Do you have to quench if so what in (oils or water) and after it becomes de-magnetized?

  • would a simple fire work from a pit and put the metal in the coals that way?

  • How long did it take? Also what type of forge do you use?
