"Probably the perfect rendition of the song", says Neil. And who am I to disagree?

  • great album and song, but I'll be damned if I got half of the meaning...very difficult to catch for a non english born and bred non cricket lover....what is it all about?

  • @albengals It's about a famous incident in a cricket match in 1993; I could go into more detail, but if you search for "ball of the century" on wikipedia it'll give you more info on it than you could possibly want...

  • wheres thomas??

  • err at 2:15 and on-and-off thereafter? That he isn't in this one more is not down to personal bias or anything; he's in the other videos I made that day a lot more, but he doesn't really do much singing on this one.

  • its bafoon not baboon!

  • You're both right (kind of); it's "buffoon" on the first chorus but "baboon" on the second.

  • Great song - great summer memories of Lords and Freddie scaring the baejesus out of em - let's do it over there

  • wonderful=)

  • "How such a ball could be bowled I don't know, but if you ask me - if it had been a cheese roll it would never have got past me!"

*Grins like an idiot* My absolute favourite line from the entire album!

  • @sighkid hey thanks I checked, fascinating, I have no knowledge of cricket, but such a marvellous album might very well push me to get more acquainted with the sport
