Boston University goaltender Kieran Millan stole the show in the Terrier's 2-1 win over UNH, but it was senior forward Jason Lawrence giving BU the game winner with 15 seconds left on the power play. BU struck first, with freshman Corey Trivino putting home a shot that deflected out in front off his skates. UNH answered in the second period, dominating play, when Bobby Butler put home a rebound to tie the game 1-1. BU showed their strengths in the third period, but the Wildcat's suddenly stingy defense held them at bay until the final minute. BU senior Brandon Yip took charge and gained the zone alone and found Nick Bonino for an open shot, causing UNH sophomore James van Riemsdyk to take a penalty in order to prevent the scoring chance. That put BU on the power play, and Lawrence's initial shot was redirected off UNH goalie Brian Foster's pad onto the glove of the diving UNH defender and into the net to give BU the go ahead goal and the win.
