What I've noticed, since Johnny and Tom Snyder are gone, is that Letterman/Leno go for the quick jokes, one liners, etc-they don't "INTERVIEW." Tom's advantage is that Tom had no audience to get instant gratification, laughs, etc-still, Tom is well-read like Johnny was. One thing distinguished Johnny from everyone else was his ability to connect with average folks: 102-yr.old farmer from Iowa, an old lady who had a potato chip collection shaped like famous people-he didn't demean them

No more guys in show biz like these two. No shows either. It's all bologna now, hosts and guests included. Don is still a riot. Tom, you are missed.
