It's the last day of the year 2006, and the Strasburg Railroad's last day operating steam until February. Let's follow along 2-10-0 #90 on her last runs of the year, and watch her be tucked into the enginehouse for a long winter's nap.

  • yes baldwin made number 90. she is a 2-10-0 and beautiful one. i love her whistle. the only distinctive one. you can here her in the valley for miles upon miles away

  • @NWRRSteamPower You'd be right, at least until 1630 gets restored. 475 is also America's only operational 4-8-0.

  • A hawk, a basket and a nearby pond and forest are enough to refuel this locomotive.

With modern diesels or electric , things are much more complicated...

  • I went on the #90 in Spring of '06, and boy was she somethin' else!

  • lol at 2:47 he says "crap late to work again"

  • @amtrak101 Correct me if im wrong (i would just google it) But i think it would be baldwin? they made 90 so im guessing Baldwin probobly made it? lol

  • does anybody know who made the bell on #90?
