Freediving in Blue Hole Spring on the Ichetucknee River in Florida, May 2011. The diver is swimming with a DOL-Fin HP monofin, which derives propulsion from the use of a wing-like hydrofoil. More information of the DOL-Fin monofin systems can be found at www.smithaeropace.us.

  • what is the thing on your head called/ what kind of snorkal

  • @SKATEBOARDINGGHP I'm wearing a mask, snorkel and a neck weight. The snorkel is home made. I call it a loop snorkel. I was unable to find a commercial snorkel that I liked, so I made my own design with parts from ACE Hardware. FYI: There is more information on it in one of my earlier video uploads.

  • do you attain more speed in the water with this? it's really interesting. i currently use a medium stiffness mono from LeaderFins, but this looks interesting. is it lightweight? i like that it doesn't look like it disturbs too much sediment
