If Drum Corps was band, then we'd call it band. Or we'd wear tacky, poorly-fitting uniforms whilst barely moving, holding our horns at inconsistent angles, and putting out 1/10 the sound. I'd like to see you tell Drew Brees or Jared Allen that they play powder puff football. Lol
