This beautiful arrangement of the traditional tune is by artist/musician Paul Asbell, from his stellar "Roots and Branches" CD. The guitar is a Blanchard ClassiCool, a nylon crossover model by Montana luthier Mark Blanchard. I don't have any affiliation whatsoever with these individuals, and don't own this guitar, but was fortunate to borrow it for a spell and decided to make a few recordings. Hope you like them!

  • Sir, your taste in music is impeccable. Thank you for your beautiful renditions of really great songs.

  • Thank you much! Your kind words are very much appreciated.

  • Sounds very good, nice arrangement, nice playing. I'd like to get some sort of hybrid nylon string at some point...love the sound but don't like the feel of the neck on most of them.

    Paul

  • Thanks Paul.

Yes, neck shape can be very crucial in the decision making. If you don't go custom, then playing before paying is definitely the way to go.

  • Very nice! I enjoyed your playing, and the guitar sounds wonderful.

    All the best,

    Bill
